Review: More Than Friends by Denise Hunter

★★★★☆ 🌶 Review: First, I would like to thank the author and Thomas Nelson for providing me with a free advanced listener copy of this audiobook. This is my honest review. Denise Hunter is easily one of my favorite no-spice romance authors. While her books are classified as Christian, they never proselytize, making them a great option for readers of any faith (or lack thereof). Jenna and Tyson are childhood best friends. When Jenna returns to her hometown after turning down an engagement and losing her job, sparks fly between the two. She uses expert examples from other authors you know as well as teaching a masterclass on developing magic systems from scratch based on methods she’s invented. You just may need this book to help find out what kind of magic-based diseases might be festering in your neighbor’s cabbages.” —Jeff Wheeler, Wall Street Journal bestselling author of the Kingfountain series
